Re: how to quetion?

the basic installation is quite simple. You remove your rear wheels and the rear brake calipers. Then you remove the rear end cover and drain the fluid out. After this is done you turn the rear end until you see the carrier pin (silver collar circle) one side will have a little bolt (8-10mm size) that is perpindicular to the carrier pin. You remove this little bolt and the carrier pin (which slides though the middle of the tlok unit) will then come out if you tap it a bit.

Once the carrier pin is out you can push each axle in a tiny by (pushing from the lug nug end) and you will see a little C shaped clip (C clip) just pull it off the end of each axle. Once the C clip is off the axle slides out. Once each axle is out you just remove the 4 bolts holding the Tlok unit in making sure to not lose track of the shims that are on each size so you can put them onto the new tlok in the exact same manor.

Remove the ring gear from the tlok and place it on the new tlok. Ensure you tq the ring gear down good (to factory specs) and reverse the process finishing with lubricant that is needed.

The key is making 100% SURE you keep the shims in the exact order as the gears are installed very carefully to keep them from whinning.

I personally would not do it myself~
