Need part numbers

I got a 04 3.9 V6 mustang and I need part numbers for a throttle body, headers and a cold air intake. I can find for the 3.8 but need to know if they will fit the 3.9

Replace the stock restrictive air box in your V6 mustang with a Cold Air Intake for an increase in power that you can feel.

Product DescriptionImproves Horsepower. This Cold Air Intake kit completely replaces the stock factory air box and restrictive paper filter element in your 1999-2003 3.8 V6 mustang with a high flow filter assembly for a noticeable increase in horsepower and throttle response while filtering out destructive power robbing dust particles. This CAI pulls cooler denser air from inside the inner fender well to make more power that you can feel.

Reusable Filter. Included in this kit is a High Flow reusable air filter. So no need to go out and buy a new filter every few thousand miles. Just clean the filter, re-oil it, save money, and go!

Polished Finish. A Cold Air Intake not only improves horsepower and acceleration, but it also improves your mustangs under hood appearance with a striking polished aluminum finish. Now you can have the best of both worlds, performance and style.

Simple Install. Cold Air Intake kits are relatively easy to install with basic hand tools. No extra modifications are required for the installation. See the video below for an overview of the installation process.

Re: Need part numbers

Yes, that CAI will fit the 04 3.9 engines just fine...despite AM saying the ranges are from 99-03. Same goes for a throttle body and headers...though those mods aren't necessary nor will they offer worthy performance gains.

Here's an article on the differences between the 3.8 and 3.9:

Comparison: 3.8 vs 3.9 V6 Mustang Engines

Re: Need part numbers

yea, headers and throttle bodys for the v6 are a waste anywhere near stock so dont do it.

The only engine difference in the 3.8 to the 3.9 if the internals of the engine, so if you ever built the engine you might care~ thats about it other wise its all pretty much the same.

Cold Air intake
under drive pulley (you get the entire balancer and pulley has to be impacted on not a big deal just FYI)
exhaust (true dual catback is the way to go! 2.25 pipe all the way back as well, like a GT take off factory exhaust)
lower it with wheels/tires
grill delete (mach 1 grill delete kit)
get a custom tune from VMP or someone similar
if a manual trans (i hope so) get a shifter (mgwltd.com) you have a T-5 transmission if manual

your good to go
