Just got my rendering from KEG!!!

Well I finally have been able to see what I am going to do with my car and I am 100% committed to getting it to the way I imagined. I had Robbie at kuttingedgegraphix.com 'shop one up for me and its awesome so now all I have to do is get the image to jump off the paper and onto the street.
Tell me what you think:

Re: Just got my rendering from KEG!!!

i wouldn't extend the fenders for the drop..but i think it looks good

the dd in the back might need a little more power to be effective. Also, the lowness of the front bumper will eliminate any daily driver ambitions for the car, it seems

You certainly won't want to drive anything that low. I'm guessing that the drop is probabably exagerated, though.

Re: Just got my rendering from KEG!!!

I know I'm not going to have to much on the way of ground clearance but I'm not going to be as low as the pic but I like the low look.

-The C strip is from the older trans am cars and I am going to be using it to accent the outline of the shaved side vent up to the wheel well.
-Unless I get a lot of money or another car to drive around while the stang is under the knife the widebody is going to have to wait. The front splitter and wider fenders, and hood are from a racing team that is making parts for mustangs, so getting the fenders isnt the problem just the fact that with the widebody, an 11 inch wide tire is needed to fill the gap and that could be expensive.
-The deep dish is a look I always loved but anything that wide in the rear is going to need a lot of power like you said. The overall plan is to eventually turn my car into a track car but that is way down the line. So engine power is definitely going to have to go up with possiblely a 4.3 stroker w/ a turbo or SC but for right now I going to try to get 250-300 hp on my motor now with parts that I can transfer over to the built engine later.
-Yeah the look is definitely exaggerated! I probably wont be that low but I wouldnt mind being a little lower then what I am now eventually.

Re: Just got my rendering from KEG!!!

Hmmm...I guess when I get the car all primered I'll layout the c-stripe with tape and see what it looks like before paint. Mainly I wanted to accent the side vent area since I dont have the scoop no more.

Re: Just got my rendering from KEG!!!

Yea I dont like the c-stripe thing, I used to like the pillar and roofline a different color two but I kinda just like a nice clean one color paint job but that's my two cents

Rydog, I actually just posted asking about your turbo setup on another topic. Hows it running for you?

Re: Just got my rendering from KEG!!!

tucking tires up under fenderwells is the epitome of ghettoness. i think it looks like ***... imo, it would be better to have an inch or so clearance from the edge of the tire to the lip of the fender... an even inch all the way around... fender flares would make it work, it would even out the look too

but wheel tuck = ghey

Re: Just got my rendering from KEG!!!

Well then I guess its a good thing that I took the air ride off my stang. The rendering is an extreme look. In reality I wouldnt go that low because my back would be killing me and my car would probably break something! Right now I have the C springs so the my car isnt by any means really low even though I feel like I'm still really high up from having the bags before and driving around really low.
