t-lok question

ok.......i heard that 7.5 with 4.10's out of a ford ranger will work on the mustang v6 is this true? and what else do i need to get once i get them?

I know the rear end will work, I'm not, however, sure if the axle size is the same. You can use your factory axles if need be though, they will work in that pumpkin and be the correct width.

many have used the diff and gears from a 7.5 inch rear axle ranger. I cant remember if the offset axle size matters~ I dont think it does. I wouldnt put used gears in but thats just me (Ive tried to go the cheap way and wound up paying twice as much as doing it right the first time around... learned my lesson on rear end gears)

I have always had used gears installed and they have all been from ford rangers. My budy works at the Ford dealership and I get them pretty cheap $200 installed. I have never had a problem with used gears but its all in the install making sure the back lash is right, wear pattern, shims etc.
