How long will it last?

how long would you approximate a v6 mustang engine to last? so far mine has 47k miles on it... its about half and half when it comes to city and highway driving.

I have seen V6 Mustangs for sale in the 170k mile range.

No rebuilt engine.

It really depends on how well you take care of it.

Change the oil every 3000 miles atleast.

Do all routine matience and it should be able to hit 200k

I have 88,825.3 on my '99. Original parts on the engine, simple maintenance is performed. No serious problems yet.

117,000. Only problem I've encountered was headers way back in the day when we first got it. Bonus side to it was our ford dealership replaced them with some nice new Ford Racing ones.
