Air Silencer Dyno results ?

I'm a bit confused... I've heard different things about removing the air silencer. Some say it does nothing, others it gives you few extra hps and others you lose some hps... Does any one have dyno results about it ? Thanks

Depending on the make of CAI you may gain or lose. One thing, I have been talking to a dyno guy and he says every type of CAI that makes a bend to the fender gains nothing or loses because it disturbs airflow to the MAF. Most of the gains are limited to a few HP. but if you plan to put on P&P heads, intakes and a cam it would be wise to get something that flows more air than the stock in air intakes system.

Have you seen DeMolet has a straight pre-MAF option now.
