finally bought them

so ive been talkin about it for a while and here they finally are my fr500's, all chrome, i wanted to go with bullits or cobra r's but i found out that my dads friend had some fr's and a price i couldnt resist, 400 dollars. let me know what you think!

Very nice...400 is a great price for chrome fr's. If you want that "wider wheel" look in the rear, pick up some 3/4" or 1" hub centric wheel spacers. Those will bring the 17x9's out damn near flush with the fender.

yeah thats what i planned on doin, maybe not right now but by the end of this coming winter when im bustin these babys out again ill have them forsure.

does anyone have any experience with firestone firehawk wideovals? cuz i think thats what im gettin? 275/40 all around. tell me what you think.

nice, I would recommend selling two and buying deep dish for out back if you dont mind not being able to rotate tires at all (only negative to staggering tires)

i would but i dont have the money right now and id like to be able to rotate tires, plus i wanna save for a gt/cobra once i get a couple other little things straightened out on my 6er. but once i have my gt/cobra i plan on buying deep dish fr500s for it cuz they deffinately look amazing.

i know. lol they are the ones i wanted originally but santa brought me my bullits 2 years ago so i was happy with them. lol

for your tires i reccomend 245/45/17. they're pretty reasonably priced.

im goin with 275/40's for extra protection on the lip. plus i dont really like the look of the sidewalls being even with the lip of the rim.

WOOOH ok just talked to my uncle with the tire shop and he is gettin the tires in tonight and my dads takin the rims over and gettin them mounted and ballanced for me so i have somethin to come home to tonight! ill have pics posted by like 10 tomorrow morning!

cameras dead so im charging it right now. and yeah i was worried they were gonna rub in the front but they dont, so im relieved. and im gonna go ahead and appolagize ahead of time for the car bein dirty its been a week or two since i washed it last.

he is running 18x9s so those tires wont fit lol plus a 245 for a 9 wide is a BAD idea.

nope i had to go with 17s, dad said 18's were too big. and yeah i was runnin 245 on my 8 inch cobras. im very happy i went with 275's love the way they fit.
