Running with the devil (RWTD Support Forums - Powered by vBulletin )
Brooks Speed (Brooks Speed - Custom Ford, GM, Dodge Tuning )
VMP Tuning ( VMP Tuning - Buy Ford SCT & GM Custom Handheld Flash Tuners Performance Economy Towing )
Bamachips ( Bama Custom Tuning or Mustang Parts & Performance - American Muscle )

Those are just a few very reputable companies. I've never heard of the ones you posted...

Re: SCT Tuning

I called SCT and these were some of the names the guy told me so I thought I would check. I thought it might be cheaper on line then going to the shop seeing there only basic upgrades. Ponyboy

Re: SCT Tuning

Basic tunes are not that expensive for emails. You may want to check with bama chips through american muscle because you get free lifetime updates...so if you do more mods that need changes in the future, then you can get your tunes updated free. RWTD and Brooks Speed I think would charge you again (about $75) for future updates. I don't remember VMP's policy.

Re: SCT Tuning

I only have experience with SCT and I'm pretty pleased with it. My tuner outta memphis(Dynospeed) uses it.

Re: SCT Tuning

its always good to do research until you feel comfortable in your decision, I went with Ed Bryan (formerly of RWTD) and he sent me a tune. I data logged (normal driving no WOT) and sent the data logs back (very easy) he checked them.

I did the same thing after my dyno and he adjusted, its hard to get them 100% dead on the first time via mail but if you have a tuner that works with you and knows what they are doing it can be done, just costs a bit for dyno time. If you plan it right you can get the tuner to be available while you do your runs and email you the tunes right away to speed up the process so you dont dyno, data log, email, wait... get back the new tune, load, then go and dyno again.
