"i'm only going by what info was given, but yeah i can see the honda getting the jump IF HE ACTUALLY HOOKED UP. lol which i haven't seen much of. lol so it'll really come down to his driving and whether he is gunna run streets, dr's, or slicks."

Lol and thats what is making this situation so crazy! Yes, the civic IS going to have a grand in weight on me. But, 1st half of the track he's gonna be be busy looking for a bite. I on the other hand will have him on get go. Its the 2nd half of the track is where things are gonna get interesting.

"The 347 will be hard to have 450 to the wheels. And being a vert good luck hooking and its super heavy."

Didn't say he'd be making 450 at the wheels. Said he'd be making roughly 450 at the motor. And He's gonna be running some BFG's. Here's those are pretty kicks ***.

"Any clue what kind of tires he runs at the track? And what will you be running?"

Idk what my friend with the Honda's gonna be running. But my friend with the fox is gonna be running some BFG's. And I'm gonna be running some Micky Thompson ET streets. You guys think M/T E/T streets will be aggressive enough?

Re: 347 stroker vs. superK24 vs. blown V6....thoughts???

So you are saying he has 450 crank and its n\a wow thats one hell of a engine. BFG what? There radial is a glorified street tire. Um cars going to flex all different kinda ways being it is a vert. Do you know his engine combo like heads, intake ,and cam. If he hooks and can drive then the fox would be my pick.

Thats what I've read about 347 strokers. They're good for about 450 or so. He's gonna be running some crazy BBK intake, a crazy *** big cam, machined heads. Idk what kinda BFG's. Just know they're DOT's. He's putting in a roll bar. So that should alieviate some flex.

Re: 347 stroker vs. superK24 vs. blown V6....thoughts???

heads being machined do you know a brand? 450 is reachable if done correctly using matching parts. build a stroker and throwing a crazy *** big cam dont make power. Do you know what he is shifting as? Roll bar is a bolt in and doesnt help like you think it would.

Re: 347 stroker vs. superK24 vs. blown V6....thoughts???

shifting as? He's got a built AOD auto good for about 700hp with like a 3000 stall. if thats what you meant. Idk what brand. I've grown up with this guy and have distanced myself from him a bit recently. So, I've lost a lot of specific information. Really now on the roll bar tip. Hmmmm, thought roll bars made quite a bit of difference.

Re: 347 stroker vs. superK24 vs. blown V6....thoughts???

When you say roll bar over the back of the head or are you talking about a cage. 3000 stall on the street na not going to hook. Im sure her know to roll into the powerband. In order for you to get 450 out of a 347 it will take a good set of aftermarket heads that are at least 185cc. Big cam silly. uncalled for unless he is shifting at 7500 and better have a ported intake to match. Heads better also be ported. Most people think that a cam with .500 lift is a huge cam.

Sup, yeah, he's got a roll bar that goes over the head and has 4 points of mounts. 2 on the floor board and 2 against the back seat. We're aren't going to street race. Gonna take it to the track. Well uh, when he gets it together and dynoed, we'll see where everybodys at.
