Differential size

Im looking at replacing the gasket on my differential. How do you know what size it is? Where do you measure from? Mine is a 99 V6 5 speed.

Re: Differential size

Thats kind of where Im going, the seal is about 15 bucks give or take, you will need a new pinion nut also, does not look that hard. Also need a puller. I think the hardest part would be torquing the new nut to 125 ft pounds (I think) without the assembly turning.

Re: Differential size

if you are talking about the differential cover its not a seal its just RTV silicon.
