v6 to v6...

It's nearly time for me to pull the motor from my parts car which is a 03 v6, I am driving a 00. I read prior to this that there will be a possible issue with putting the motor from the 03 into the 00 because the motor is newer and would have eletrical problems. Just trying to find out if what i read was correct anyone know?

I was told that this will not be an issue if i take the eletrical haress. when I pull the motor instead of cutting it.... but I'm not 100% sure on that so... lol advice ?

Re: v6 to v6...

OK, so what I need to do is take the motor out of my car. then the motor out of the 03, put the 03's motor into my 00 mustang.. but put the lower intake from my 00 into the 03 motor? lol could someone please explain this? I'm just a bit confused, Maybe because I've not slept and have been taping off and paining my dash board this morning then went to route 66 in joliet IL and saw loads of mustangs.

good day it was indeed.

Re: v6 to v6...

Take the lower intake off of the 2000 engine and put it on the 2003 engine. Make sure you replace the upper and lower intake gaskets. Do not buy the two gaskets as a kit there almost $100 that way buy them separate there $54 that way. I can prove this as well.

Re: v6 to v6...

It has butterflies in the lower intake that the ECU controls. Your 2000 doesnt have the connections for this.
