Measure Backspacing question?

Hey guys, I'm currently selling my rims on Ebay. They are 18x9 Chrome FR500 wheels from American Muscle. About 3 years old and in good shape. Also selling with tires and the link is below. My question is what is the backspacing on these rims and how do I measure backspacing? I could call AM, but I am at work. The reason I ask is because a potential buyer is interested and wants to know.

Thanks.

Re: Measure Backspacing question?

To measure backspaceing, place a straight edge across the rim, measure the distance between the straightedge and where the back of the wheel bolts up to the hub.

Re: Measure Backspacing question?

i checked AM and according to them the back spacing on their 18x9 fr500's is 5.9" (151mm) so thats what it should be if you got yours from them.

Re: Measure Backspacing question?

Yea thanks guys I also checked with AM and they said the same thing. Measuring with a straight edge I got about 5.5 inches, but I'll take AM's word for it.
