Clutch frustration

Does anyone else have a clutch pedal that sits higher than their brake pedal? I hate it. I was hoping the clutch kit from AM would help lower it, but it didn't. Is there any way I can make it even with the break pedal, or maybe even lower? Also, how should I have the kit set? Currently the clutch engages after I let off the pedal about half way.

Re: Clutch frustration

MM makes a petal hight adjustment kit, thats what you are looking for, the clutch cable doesnt effect (not usually) the bump stop the clutch petal sits on, thats why its so high. But... you dont want a clutch petal thats to low so you dont get full extension when using it~ probably not an issue just FYI.

Re: Clutch frustration

That is ford's design to make it happen. Right now, mine is just barely higher than my brake pedal because I installed the MM clutch height adjuster thing. I have mine set at the highest setting at the moment while I found the perfect setting for the firewall adjuster. Now, I will lower the pedal down as far as I can until I don't get the full release of the clutch or I bottom out the adjuster...whichever happens first.

What quadrant to you currently have in your car? And do you have a firewall adjuster? And when you say MM clutch kit, are you referring to the like $15 pedal height adjuster?
