Need new Balljoints

So today I had a set of Tokico Blue/HP/Mach 1 shocks installed on my Mustang (haven't driven it enough to tell the difference), however my shop (Coastal Dyno of Tampa FL) informed me that the suspension looked pretty solid, but that the balljoints could use replacing. Now I'm not a steeda person, however the X2 balljoints seem to be one of the only aftermarket sets out there. I have used the company MOOG before on a different car (68' firebird) and found there parts to suffice as well as be reasonable. My two questions to everyone is which Ball joints should I get (OEM, MOOG, or the X2's) and why are the X2's longer in lenght (see the picture). I don't understand why they have spacers? My only other suspension mod other than the shocks/struts are maximum motorsports full length subframe connectors and a Kenny Brown Strut tower brace.
Thanks.

Re: Need new Balljoints

Yea I don't see why I would need aftermarket balljoints. I ordered some OEM this morning. Thanks though, that is a good site. Prices are very fair.
