Re: MGP CALIPER COVERS

That looks really good! You picked a good color, red really catches your eye. I always wondered what blue calipers would look like on my silver stang, but I'm re-thinking about just sticking with red after seeing what it does to yours. Nice pony by the way!

Re: MGP CALIPER COVERS

I've seen them on cars before. You can easily tell that they are covers and they fall into the same line as spinner hubcaps for me.

I think they run ~189.99 for a set of four...a bit pricey for me, plus they don't make them in sonic blue

Re: MGP CALIPER COVERS

I think the covers give the calipers a finished look. The only problem I've seen with this type of aftermarket stuff is the more stuff you stick on the car, the more stuff you tend to buy and stick on the car. I guess I'm more a purest, but I do admit they do look good.

Re: MGP CALIPER COVERS

+1 for the newbie, not so much with calipers covers but i understand what u mean for say with stickers, neons, and what not, we always assume its just the ricers who have the stickers to increase performance LOL< but i have seen mustangs with the sticker addiction....there like tattoo i guess lol...im not a fan of stickers, the farthest ill go is a chrome badge that reads "NOS" or "TURBO" or "SUPERCHARGED"....I took the "ford" emblem off the back trunk ya know where the GT badge goes? standing behind the car it to the left of the license plate...ya know where im talking bout? since mine was a 6 it didnt have the GT badge just the ford emblem, so i popped it off and put a CHROME 'NOS" badge right there, not a cheap sticker like an actually emblem. ive had dumb kids askn me how did u get a NOS edition mustang LOL...it looks oem...at the time i just had a a intake, tune, and my 150 shot of spray. I mean thats what was powering my car so i think it looks good back there, now if i didnt have nitrous with that on there then i would be a ricer or whatever the equivelent is in the muscle worl lol

Re: MGP CALIPER COVERS

I painted my calipers blue, the bracket blacket and the center of the rotor black and i think they look just awesome with my blue car......it is worth the time and it looks far more professional then having a piece of tin.

Re: MGP CALIPER COVERS

Well, I don't know if this is true or not, but I've been told that using the caliper covers help to deflect excess brake dust from getting on your wheels. So, if that's actually true, then I would definitely have to say that I like the idea of using the covers even better!

Re: MGP CALIPER COVERS

ceramic pads do that, I've gone 2-3 months during the winter without washing mine and they stayed the same as the rear wheels, not black in front and clean in the rear how you see many cars.
