5 speed swap?

Gonna swap out the 4r70w in my 02 3.8. I know everything I need to do the swap exept one thing. Do I need the computer and harness out of a manual stang or can I just wire in the NSS and reverse light switch to the stock harness?

I know you have to have an auto computer if swapping from 5 speed to auto. To be honest I'm not sure if you have to have the 5 speed computer or not...

I do know you need all these parts though:

Trans, bellhousing, flywheel, clutch, pedals, wiring harness, driveshaft yoke, shifter, shift boot, and some bolts

i friend of mine have a 95 auto and swap to 5 speed, he used the auto computer and dont worked fine, so he later use a 5 spped computer and problem solve, so you need the 5 speed computer

the 01+ transmissions are different, they require a digital speedometer linkage so you will need an 01+ 5 speed T-5 to swap in or you will have to get the tail shaft and sensor and swap over some stuff to get it to work.

Its a major hassel, I would just sell the car and buy a manual unless you dont care about the cars value, dont want to get rid of it ever, or dont care about the value of the car going down a ton.
