Re: nitrous question?

You probably wont be happy with a 50 shot and you will want to step it up. Doing a nitrous job right isnt much if any cheaper than a blower FYI.

same here i got a small discount but i think the kit you are talking about goes for 960 now and its the most proven kit i have seen. zex makes a good looking kit but chevy once made a good looking car if you know what i mean.

Re: nitrous question?

What exactly is a window switch? Is that the same as a WOT switch?? If it is, I agreed 1000000000x. The whole button for the nitrous thing is NOT a safe thing to do...

Re: nitrous question?

Well window switch controls the spray between whatever RPMs you have the "pills" set up for like me I sprayed from 3200 - 5600 rpms which is right before the car shifts

I dunno man, NX is a great setup but ZEX is just as good IMO. They are probably the safest "out of the box" kit you can buy with its little computer based mixture system. I think ZEX is fine, even being a fan of NX kits (and a former user of one).

Like I said, either kit and you'll be happy. Just look for a good deal.

Heres my opinion on ZEX, I dont like them, seen to many locals out in my area that had that mentality of the safe out of the box deal and ended up blowing their motors within first week of use. Granted im sure they coulda taken extra steps but still.

I dont even know what year Ryans car is, he also doesnt know much about nitrous itself if hes asking Qs about whether or not you can put a carb kit on a fuel injected car. I mean I think he should read up some more on nitrous before something goes wrong.

Re: nitrous question?

I don't remember the brand, but the shop here just started carrying NAWS and is designing a system with them to be branded their own. I know their bottles flow better than the NX and others...but I can't remember the name off hand. I will find out for sure and let you know. I could find out a price for you as well if you would like.

haha oh stop being a lil cry baby i misread somethings get the **** over it.
I ran a nitrous express kit on my car for almost 2 years, right I dont know anything.

I hope you do blow up your motor cause im gonna be the first person here to laugh at your dumbass.

BTW I have no clue on what year your car is again (second time i asked). FFT - Pre 99 - go with dry 99+ wet kit

Now go have fun blowing your **** up

Re: nitrous question?

I have heard good things about Nitrous Works as well, I'd just recommend getting a nitrous tune as well, though.

You just owned yourself there, young padwan. Blue was right. You did say that, and if you are asking questions like that you need to go to some research, like HowStuffWorks - Learn how Everything Works! for example. You need to atleast learn the basics before you get to the point of actually buying a system. Do you even know to back your timing down 2 degrees for every 50 hp you add with nitrous? Most don't do it, but it is recommended in most applications. You should calm down and realize when people are trying to help you. It's much easier to make friends that way. If not, keep on keepin' on jerky boy.

Actually..I think he was saying that the sneaky pete system wouldn't fit since it was for a carbed car...

Added punctuation to help clear the statement up a little....
