next mod

so i was wondering what everybodys thoughts are on the next thing i should do. i already go my car tuned, now im considering a few other things. some of the things im considering are a new exhaust, gears and a tlok, CAI, side scoops, hood scoops, new rims, window tint, and window louvers. idk if one thing would be better to get now than another. any feedback is appreciated

Re: next mod

It all depends on whats more important to you, also money has an impact on that decision as well. If you prefer looks to performance than go with some rims or louvers. A CAI will go well with your tune and it won't really break your bank, if you want a decent exhaust system you can go to newtakeoff.com they have some decent take off exhausts, I did a trac-loc and gears in my car and to me by far that has been my best upgrade, with those you make the engine rev higher to spin the larger gear patterns, so some sacrifice of mpg will occur, normally you go 3.73 for manual and 4.10 for autos, I put 4.10 in my manual. You would be looking at roughly $450 for parts and roughly 250 to 300 for the install unless you can do it yourself, but this all falls on what you prefer.

Re: next mod

Yea that is normally correct h pipes help with the sound and the x pipes will net you about 1-2 more hp than the h pipe, if it's a complete kit and when there is no welding involved it is normally pretty quick for a exhaust shop to install, maybe $150 or so for install.

Re: next mod

It would also be in your best interest to get it tuned again if you install tlok, gears, or exhaust parts.

Re: next mod

Mostly updating your tune would be beneficial with a exhaust or a CAI upgrade, you would have to adjust the speedometer if you changed the gears and that can be done with your tuner.

Re: next mod

Does anybody know if they make a tuner for 94 v6 mustangs, I havent been able to find one. Also people keep telling me my car is obd1 but you have to use a obd2 code reader on it. I'm not understanding, and sorry if i'm off topic but it's really getting on my nerves.
