Question dome light/gas

Hi guys so i have a problem with my dome light when i open the door it works and close to door it turns off like normal, but when i try to use the the switch to turn it on it wont work. if i try to use the switch while the door is open and light is on it turns the light off. also the map lights dont work and they also turn the dome light off when they are switched on. anybody have any idea why this might be happening? also the 12v outlet in my center consule doesnt work could these be related?

my 2nd question is what gas are you guys putting in ur v6s 87 91 or 93?

thanks for all the help guys

Re: dome light/gas

for dome light take down the thing and check for power when you have the door shut and you turn the knob, if you dont get power then either a fuse is messed up or a wire is messed up.

for gas run 87 its useless to run anything higher in a car tuned for 87.

Re: dome light/gas

I'd first check ALL (I mean ALL) fuses first.

SN95/New Edge Mustangs ('94-'98/'99-'04) were made to run on 87 Octane from the factory. Using a higher grade really won't do anything for you. Unless your car has been tuned for other Octanes using 87 is just fine.
