Handhelp tuner and mods

I know this has probably been asked a million times but i have a 98 v6 musang and i was planning on using an aftermarket cam headwork and also possibly a turbo. Would i be able to modify my computer with a handheld tuner or would it have to be sent off. And if i can use a handheld what kind of adjustments need to be made for cam and turbo.

Re: Handhelp tuner and mods

Yes, you can use a handheld tuner, but with the mods you are talking about and the questions you are asking, I wouldn't go about doing it yourself. However, if you bought the sct pro racer package with your sct hand held, and studied the materials pretty good, you would be able to do the tuning as it would guide you through the whole process.

Now, the prp is $350 on top of the price for a hand held. A custom dyno tune will run you about $350-400 to have it professionally tuned. So, it would be a call on your part.
