Re: Best way to tune

In my opinion, the best way to tune your car is with a hand held tuner, not a chip. It's makes updates much easier and only takes a minute to load the new tune. The SCT XCal 2 and 3's are what I am familiar with and would recommend.

Re: Best way to tune

chips are in the past, hand held is the way to go. I would recommend getting a real tune file rather than a base "can" tune that wont work nearly as well.

check with VMP and such for their tunes as they are much better than the ones that they send you by default.

SCT and Diablo's handhelds are the best of the any available aftermarket product available to the public.

Re: Best way to tune

Id go with sct. And that seems to be what all the tuning places around here use. I believe diablosport gives more user options, but make sure your shop has the software for it if you go that route.

I would say handheld... I mean if you had a 100% done car you could go with an sct chip.
