tps sensor

tps sensor needs to be calibrated in a mustang v6 2001, or only older ones needs to be calbrated??

a bad sensor like tps o maf that give a incorrect voltage can turn on the battery light sometime, or just turn on the service engine soon light??

I wouldn't think it would have anything too do with the battery light.Take it too a parts store and they can scan it and see why the CEL is on.

i dont have the service "engine soon light " , but sometimes the battery light is on just for a second or two, take the car to a shop for check the charging system and every thing is ok, so i dunno that is normal or not

It'd turn on the service engine light for sure. When mine went bad I didn't see the battery light come on.

thats right , a bad sensor turn on the service engine for sure, i dont have the service engine ON, but the baterry light rarely turn on for a second or two, then turn OFF, take the car to a shop fot check the charging system and everything was ok, so i dunno why that battery light turn on rarely( 1 or 2 times in 3 or 4 months) and just for a second or two
