Missfire Cylinder 1

Had code P301 pop up the other day and I have been trying to figure out what is the cause. I have replaced the spark plugs, wires, coil pack and O2 sensers. Car runs alot better now then it was, but the code is still poping up. Also, I have P1413 up too. Checked the pipe for holes, got a new pump but the code is still up. Any ideas? Thanks for your help

Re: Missfire Cylinder 1

Have you recently changed the crank pulley to an under drive pulley? If you dont tighten it down good (125ftlbs or so) then it can trip a miss fire code as the sensor on the crank doesn't align right with the crank sensor.

Re: Missfire Cylinder 1

fuel system? changed the fuel filter as of late. You can also clean your maf sensor.

you guys have coil pack(s) just not coil over plugs.

I'd disconnect the battery for a few minutes while clean your Iat and Maf sensors. Recheck wires and plugs?

Re: Missfire Cylinder 1

Definatly check the IAT sensor (cylinder shaped thing on the throttle body) if its clogged up it can alter the idle ability of the car. Mine went out and the car just would not idle.

Re: Missfire Cylinder 1

IAT or IAC? Inlet air temp or Idle air control? Just to be sure.
