P301 Missfire Cyl. 1

Ok, so this is what I got. A few days ago I got this missfire code off my car. So Ive replaced the Coil pack, spark plugs, spark plug wires, O2 sensers, and the fuel injecter, and the code is still poping right back up. Any ideas from anyone? Maybe fuel filter?
Also, When Im driving the car, and just a small amout of load needs to be put on the throttle (maybe between 1,200 and 1,600 rpms), the car starts to shake. Its definitly not the tires unblalanced because if i get on the gas a little harder (2,000+ rpms) or there is no load on the throttle, the car is running fine, and not shaking. Car doesnt have any idleing problems either, sits just fine.

Anyone got any ideas what it could be and why it would cause a code for missfire in cylinder one?

Re: P301 Missfire Cyl. 1

grabbed a tool today to check the compression in cylinder 1 to see if there is a loss of compression. Its about the only other thing I can think to check. Anyone know what range I should expect to see for a good cylinder and for a bad one? Thanks.

The best way to tell is to not measure a single cylinder, but rather measure them all and make sure they are within a pretty tight range. Different motors may have different compressions. The important thing is to see if you have a cylinder that is lower than the others.

fuel filter would be more of a p0300 or more than just cylinder 1.. -- when you did the plugs, was there any oil/fouling of the cylinder 1 plug?

Check the crank position sensor lately?
