Re: CAI

It depends on the car. A V6 Mustang won't get any noticeable power increase from a CAI.

I wouldn't waste money on it if you are looking for performance.

Re: CAI

Will..if it was me, I'd buy one just for the heck of it.

Just don't spend over 50-75 bucks...not worth that.

It does help clean the engine bay up some though

A huge plus one. You'll get some oomph, but not enough to really matter. It will however help with your gas mileage

Re: CAI

Piece of advice, the ones on ebay will work fine. Just watch out for the "chrome" to come off after awhile. Might be worth it to just pick up a K&N if you like their look better.

It gives you a nice noise, I would say they are worth the 50-100 bucks.

Re: CAI

kind of old thread but i'd suggest findin a used BBK CAI or any CAI in good shape used for cheap. I got my BBK CAI for under $50 shipped and it looks awesome. Not a mod to do if lookin for power though. Here some pics of mine.

Re: CAI

buy one for looks and expect a bit better MPG and a bit different exhaust note. The power you get is really not noticeable but ... its something to do I guess.
