Yeah, then you'd need a hell of a tuning system(Bigstuff3, Fast XFI, etc), a rotating assembly that could hold that kind of power, some 5 thousand dollar plus transmission, a completely redone rear suspension, a roll cage, a fully redone fuel system, and all other accompanying parts which would easily sum up to be atleast 20 or 30 grand in parts alone.

Sure, just add fuel, fab the kit up and go. 2: 2: 2: 2:

I dont know he must be updating it or something. And one of those turbos will be to big for your car. Post the turbo specs so we can see what you working with and the flow map if you have it

Re: turbo

i have nothing on the turbos other than they are supposedly 86mm that need new bearings but if i could get them free and running cheap it would be worth it but i might just get one small 40-50mm off ebay or something, my car is just too weak

Re: turbo

And it depends on if your talking about and 86mm inducer or wheel diameter because my wheel diameter on my turbo is 88mm so you need to get some more info on them to see if you can use ONE of them

Re: turbo

If it came off a drag car, I would suspect that is inducer size. WAY too big for the motor, even as just a single set up. Unless you want to start boosting around 8k.

spraying is probably the "cheapest bang for your buck"...but if you abuse it or have a crappy tune, you will be getting a lot of "bang", thats for sure...

Actually if you get a remote bottle opener, then vuala!, it's there whenever you want it......... And actually say you went through a bottle a month(a lot of racing, even for a 100 shot) 40(assuming 4 bucks a pound which is the going rate) bucks a months for 12 months and say for 4 years. That's 480 bucks a year and that's 1920 bucks for 4 years.... Which is still cheaper than a vortech(But with a vortec you can get upwards of 130 hp with their setups) Plus, if you think about it, since you AREN'T spraying all the time, you would actually put less stress on the motor since you arent going to be spraying all the time(playing at a stoplight, or out in the backwoods). But like my sig pretty much says, which one are you?

Question Re: turbo

Your better off going with true dual exhaust with stock manifolds than headers. Especially supercharging it. Ive been told the gains from headers is minimal but better with dual exhaust. The V6 can take a lot of boost without parting. Justin at VMP has 2. His wifes car is VERY close to 400 HP with a Vortech. Never saw a turbo on a V6. Just saw the TMA turbo from one of the posts. Interesting.Still like the idea of a intercooled vortech supercharger though. GGBIW
