My Future Upgraded V6

After much research, and forum discussion, I have pieced together my total project 2004 V6 Import Killer/Daily Driver. This is what I am looking at. Feel free to comment and/or criticize. If you think I could improve something, or if I have left anything out, please say so.

4.2 Stroker (complete engine)
Single Turbo Setup from TMA (Eventually, wont be put on right away)
Detroit Truetrac LSD
Motive 3.73 Rear Gears (with bearing kit)
Aluminum Driveshaft
SPEC Stage 2 Clutch
SPEC Steel Flywheel
Ford GT Fuel Pump
60lb Fuel Injectors
MGW Short Throw Shifter
G-Force T-5 transmission upgrade kit
Steeda Aluminum Lower and Upper Rear Control Arms
Alloy Steel Strut Tower Brace
Steeda Rear Shock Tower Brace
Steeda Sport Springs

I dont think I've left anything out. What do you guys think? Especially since it's going to be a daily driver, and wont ever see a track.

To be honest, I don't see the point in an aluminum driveshaft unless you just want to say you have one. Not worth the overall costs IMO.

And as far as the 4.2, what all do you have planned? If you are wanting to go turbo, go ahead and spend the money on upgraded internals and head work and get work done on the intakes. Along with that, I'd spend some time researching a cam and invest in a well matched cam as well.

No point in just going with the 4.2 crank since it'll take a little more work to insure your investment.

Ok, so I'll save a bit if I dont get the aluminum driveshaft. With the 4.2, it was going to be the complete engine from SSM, so all the internals, intake, and cam will be taken care of when I talk with them.

My aluminum driveshaft cured vibration from my rear

+++ its a HUGE weight difference... less rotating mass is a GOOD THING

Well, with my application, the aluminum driveshaft may be a good upgrade then.

Re: My Future Upgraded V6

I guess it's just one of those things that isn't that high on my list personally...

I'd rather spend the 250 on a better set of tires.

Re: My Future Upgraded V6

I've decided to disregard the whole 4.2 Stroker engine. Instead, I am going to use SSMs Stage 3 PowerPak with all the upgrades they have listed. I'm still going to get the Turbo from TMA, but the PowerPak is going to be fine to handle it, rather than getting a whole friggin engine. Any comments?

Well, apparently the PowerPak didnt come with forged internals. I need those for the turbo so my engine doesnt go *kaboom*. So I take back my previous entry. I have to get the 4.2 as it comes with the forged internals.

What do I get in return for sharing my wealth? I'm not running a charity here hehe.

Forged internals, huh? Exactly how much power you planning on going with? If you go with a moderate amount of boost and a good tune, you shouldn't have much problems with your stock internals.

But who wants to go that far with an engine and not go all the way? Engines are just like women...if you're gonna do 'em...well you know the rest...
