Re: Lowered ride?

Not necessarily... it all depends on your shocks/struts and spring rate setup. Its firmer, but I wouldn't call it rough. A progressive rate spring will act like a stock setup, where its a little nicer ride until you really start pushing into the corners, then it stiffens up real good.

Re: Lowered ride?

+1 if the spring rate is still at the stock level and the struts/shocks are allowed to travel their normal amount the ride will be the same.

Re: Lowered ride?

Mine is a little firmer than stock because of the shocks/struts and springs I went with.

I love it though, I can feel the road and the limits of the suspension and tires alot better now.

Re: Lowered ride?

Its the price you pay for set rate springs.

Im going with progressive springs because I don't think my back can take any rougher of a ride. Roads around here suck!

Re: Lowered ride?

The mustang needs to be firmed up... it has major body roll stock. The 05+s are also very bad in this area.
