well I guess this is gonna be it...

After spending some time going back and forth trying to get the game plan done I'm gonna end up doing this:
-subframes, swaybars, control arms, rear tower brace.
-gears, tlock
-Spec 1 clutch, lighter flywheel, shifter (maybe alum. driveshaft)
-18x9 black bullitts with tires
-slotted rotors and performance brake pads
-SSM stage 2 power pak with all the goodies to get the most with it.
-TMA single turbo kit with gauges
-custom tune
-Cobra front bumper with PIAA fog lights
-finish the bodywork and go with a metallic yellow (dont kill me but probably corvette yellow since its the only yellow I see that I like)
-rear seat delete kit with a pair of racing seats up front with new skins
-four point roll cage with the straight bar across
-white face gauges, white face gauge for a/c
-billet bits and pieces throughout the cabin
-upgrade my blown speakers to new ones, 2 10s in the rear and a headunit
-redo the tint on my windows
-replace my steering wheel ring with the ford racing one.
-
Guess thats about it but things could change but thats the general idea. Hope I can get it done sometime before my car falls apart on me. What do you all think? Thanks
~Jon~

Seems like a good plan. I'm doing much of the same thing if you look at my post "My Future Upgraded V6". Though if you plan on getting a turbo, I would seriously consider the Stage 3 PowerPak, as it is made for S/C or Turbo. It will handle the power better. You will probably need a SPEC Stage 2 clutch, as with the power and boost you'll be making, you will really strain that Stage 1 clutch. Thats all I can really see. What kind of shifter are you going to get? Good luck!

Re: well I guess this is gonna be it...

I was gonna go with a MGW or 5.0 shifter. The Tri-ax is nice but my buddy had it and didnt like it at all so he got a mac shifter and thought the mac was a lot better. No point in buying something thats more money.
Yeah I was looking at the Stage 3 originally. I was thinking about the Stage
2+ since it could be used with a power adder but if I get that much money togther I may actually just go with the 3 but I'll see whenever I get all the money together. I'm just working right now on the things that will get the power to the ground mainly and stop of course. Drivetrain, suspension, etc.

Also, as I was just told, so I will kindly pass the info along: If you plan on going with the turbo, you're going to need forged internals. The powerpaks dont come with forged internals, and if you push that turbo, you're going to blow your engine. I dunno what your plans are for pistons and rods, but I suggest going with the 4.2 stroker engine from SSM, as it comes with the FIs and the powerpak.

I have heard nothing but good things about the MGW. That's what I will be getting.

You dont have to go forged if you keep this boost at a moderate level and dont rape your car everyday

+1 Yeah I'm not gonna be using it for any really racing right away. If I like what I have when I get the stuff I'll build a block but for right now I'm looking for a good performing car that will suprise some people and one that I can have fun with. Yeah MGWs are awesome I hear.
