Well me personally don't like the crackle at the the downside of the rpms. But like they say cherry bomb has had that for years and it does give alot of power gain. I like it no less sounds better than stock.....

ok, well the wife wasn't having it. she made me put the caps back on the cut-outs. it's still loud, just not as loud. now we don't have to worry about getting a noise pollution ticket. i'll have to get a sound clip of it now.

Re: pace setter long tube headers w/ hi-flow cats

i had shortys on mine at first. i didn't really notice a change with those. i didn't really feel and gain or notice a change in sound. but at that time i also had the factory cats on it. with the high flows you should notice a difference. you should post some video or a sound clip afterwards. mine was still cold in my videos, when it's warmed up, it barely crackles at all.

haha love it!! I had a red 98 v6 convertable (my very first mustang) i did some of that to. mine was mostly true duals and flowmaster ......just enough to make it purr and sound like it ment buisness. I always love to see what the guys with the v-6 stangs are doing for upgrades so keep us posted and keep up the good work.

That's because the crackle on the RPM drop is caused by tiny leaks in the exhaust. When it gets hot and expands, it closes off those holes, greatly reducing the crackle.
