Nope. The 2010's came out with the 300HP/30MPG marketing tags. It was one of the main reasons I bought mine.

Actually you are wrong, the 2010's still have the 4.0l in it that created the same horsepower and got the same gas mileage as the 05-09 models, 2011 they got the new 3.7l that makes 300hp and 30mpg, and to the OP there are alot of v6 mustangs that put out 300+ hp, most people settle with a supercharger to get them past that point. I am going to pull my motor and put in the v8.

Hmm.. That's interesting. I'll have to double check some numbers from the shop.

Eh.. It's still a stang. I can live with it. Besides, with some mods and some kind of FI, I can make those numbers!

Re: V6's at or above 300?!

the 2010 have the 4.0L not the 305hp 3.7L, the 2011 got the new motor. The 4.0L could make 300hp but it will not come with just bolt ons and a tune~ it will take much more to make up the nearly 100hp difference

You can port the heads/intake/ do a custom cam with bolt ons and you should see great numbers, probably nearly 300hp then. You can do a supercharger etc as well.

There are plenty of very high HP v6's out there (700+) just a matter of money lol

Re: V6's at or above 300?!

my 4.0 puts 205 to the tire ,witch probably puts it around 250 at the crank ? plenty for a daily driver , i think you would have to go into the engine and spend some major $$ to get a 4.0 up to 300hp ... or super charge it .....

Re: V6's at or above 300?!

if you put an xcharger on it you will be at 300, especially the new intercooled one. you wont be able to get there NA unless you do heads/cams which will cost just as much as a super charger since not many ppl go this route. im at 210 to the wheels right now and i wont be seeing much more hp until i go FI

There was a point where I was putting out 360 rwhpw. But it was a dangerous tune. Stupid on my part, now I'm making 320. But I put alot of time and money into it, if I could go back I would never do it, I'd buy a gt instead. For the $ I spent I could have a gt500!
This car has drained me dry and it doesn't work right even today.
So if u want 300 then buy a 05/10 gt. Or a 2011 v6.

Its ok, I'de never throw any money at a 2 or 3v mustang GT so we're in the same boat. Plus you've got no clue how much money I've thrown at my car, and nobody every says "Ide never throw that much money" to me when I pull the National out of the garage... Oh well you can continue to be slow!

#1 I never quoted you talking about how much money you have put in your car nor do I care.

#2 A 3v can flow just as good as a 4v Terminator and make more power at lower Rpms.

#3 I guess by your standards 400+whp is slow

#4 F Y I Grand National is one of my all time favorite cars.

You v6 guys are so damn sensitive........jeez.

#1 I never said you did, #2 I would go ls based before I bought a termi, #3 Its 2010, 400hp is starting to be nothing :/ #4 We're both on the same page here. #5 Not sensitive, just tired of people making ignorant comments tward 3.8 mustang owners, I fall under "car enthusiast" Don't care what it is as long as its tastefully done.

How is what I said a ignorant comment towards v6 owners? I said,I wouldn't throw money in a v6.....I believe that was my opinion and not directed towards anyone.

I also recall you saying,"You" don't know how much I've put in my car. Either way seems you always get upset whenever someone states their opinion about a v6.As far as being slow goes you have never mentioned anything about your car besides," built and boosted" so as far as anyone knows..... you could be the slowest one here?
