need help

Ok so I have a 2000 mustang with side pipes. I'm looking to making my car sound really deep like the old school ones but I still want to keep my side pipes. what do I get?

Re: need help

Long tubes and an o/r h will help but I know they are strict in cali. The only other way is turndowns but you want to keep your setup. So you might be **** out of luck.

Re: need help

One of my favorite set ups is the Cervini side exhaust. Maybe thats what you need? Part#8037 on front page of web site.
That system is awesome, saw it on you tube couple of times. Hope that helps somehow.

If you want deeper sound some exhaust companies have a box instead of a pipe that joins both exhaust pipes. It will give you a deeper tone to your sound. Bigger the box, deeper the sound

I'd guess you're talking about the pro chamber setup...those are good for the v8's...haven't heard anything about them on v6's.

Re: need help

for the 3.8L generally it wont sound deep other than at idle up to about 2k rpms. After that it starts to sound worse and worse. Not much you can do other than make it louder.
