Awww come on SpectorV!!!

But really I was going to do the same thing, had everything but a tune for the computer. It does cost way to much and you'll never be satisfied with it. If you really really really want to do it then you need everything from the t-bird that includes motor, complete wire harness, fuel pump, and any sensor under the hood. You also need the inter-cooler and piping, radiator. You will need a longer throttle cable and modify your brake lines at the master cylinder for clearance

Re: supercharger off a Thunderbird

yea, I just get tired of posting up that you need everything etc etc lol.. I wish it were simple butits not, plus its an air intercooled setup with tons of pipe and its just not good, cant put a water heat exchanger setup easily on a OHV motor due to push rods etc in the valley... by the way if its a root blower thats not actually part of the main intake is it considered a positive displacement blower.. hmm I thinks not.

Re: supercharger off a Thunderbird

i seen a couple of s/c into stang transplants on youtube. definatley need a whole car to make it happen. but the guys on the supercoupe forums make good hp (300+rwhp). i was a mn12 tbird guy b4 i was a stanger. idk..i guesse unless someone is real commited, they should stay away from that sorta swap. it's pretty involved, and you do need a bit of intimate knowldge of the electronics.

They need to come up with noisy timing gears for the v6 so we can have the wine but not have empty pockets.

im pretty sure a 302 set would work. they are kinda universal sets depending on the brand.
