Switching motors.

I wanna switch the motor in my 95 mustang. Iv got an auto v6 In it at the moment. I was just wondering other peoples opinion on what should go in it

If there's nothing wrong with the motor, leave it alone. If you're wanting more horses and that v8 sound, go buy a GT or Cobra.

i think ima try to document and post my pics of my v6-v8 swap in my 97..then we just refer everyone to it.

racing aod, 2700 stall, 3.42 gears, ported e7, 308ci, 1.7rr, comp .560valve springs, gear drive, high dwell module, msd 6a & coil, bbk off road xpipe, mac cat back, 30lbs inj, pro-m 90mm, welded subframe connectors, boxed upper & lower trailing arms, spherical axle bushings, 255/50/16 tires, 255lph pump, 456hp

That would work too. But then again, we've got a thread stickied on which mods to do to get the most out of your sixer and nobody ever reads it apparently.

that would make too much sense. i think we've had 3 ppl start a thread all askn the same question today on a v6-v8 swap. most of them dont have any idea wut they're getn themselves into.

Easiest swap to do would be a small block carb setup. It would be a bear to drive everyday though.

Thats what I'm going to do here real soon. I'm going with a 351W carb setup. I reccomend small block 5.0l or 351W because it bolts right to the tranny and you can buy motor mounts cheap for the swap. Wiring is pretty simple and not hard at all. But you do need some experience with motors to do it unless you have the money for a shop to install it.
