5-minute mods for a 2004 v6.

I was just wondering what kind of cheap mods I could do to my sixxer. I've heard of a few.
1st. K&N drop-in filter (already have it installed)
2nd. Gas pedal fix (spacer on cable)
3rd. Intake silencer removal or modification. (I've heard removing it removes horsepower?)
Anymore you know about?

Oh, and a spacer in the exhaust. It would take longer, but I've heard it makes a nice sound and it's basically free

I've seen it on another forum. Basically disconnect the exhaust from the factory y-pipe and put 1/2inches of washers to make a space. It makes it sound louder in the cabin and adds a nice sound every time you shift.

As far as I know it's not. And I guess so, as long as it's bolted on.

Re: 5-minute mods for a 2004 v6.

get a gt catback exhaust from your year (99-04) and have a shop fab it on. Leave the cats... v6's do not sound good with no cats or mufflers etc.

Basically it gives you a more responsive throttle, let's you go FOT before you're pressing the pedal to the carpet, and it brings the gas pedal almost even to the brake pedal.

Here's a link with some pics of it.

I know that, I'm just talking about little things that you can do to make driving your mustang more fun.
