But again. I don't understand wat gains u get from the pedal fix other than a raised pedal. Which doesn't mean speed

I think I'm just taking off the cats and taking out the silencer in my intake. Then I'm done and I'll save for a 8 or a f150. Lol

I pulled the silencer on mine this morning, only took me like 10 min, I had an extra half hour before work so I said what the hell, why not right?

It's easy and same as a cai.... I am all for paying for gains but a cai doesn't help a new edge

Steps are remove bolt on top of filter housing, remove the 4 bolts that are connected to the side of housing away from car, pull space out then remove the filter housing, take the filter out and pop the damn snorkle off and re instal, it's super easy, just get under the hood and you can't go wrong, no real effects honestly, exhaust sounds barely louder...

No, if you want the whistle you have to instal a CAI but that's just a waste of $

If you want the whistle do a CAI, is yours an 01 gt or sixxer? It may be set up differently, your goal is to just get it out of the car so do it by whatever means needed minus explosions...lol

Re: Cheap, Easy and Quick Mods.

i dont know alot of things you can do but i do know for sure that you can put on a CAI and it will make it sound awesome and give you about 15 more horses to play with and a little better gas mileage.

Wrong...obviously a 17 year old kid who believes what the box says...15 hp from a sixxer isn't gonna happen unless you go full exhaust...or cams...a cai on a sixxer or 2v doesn't do anything but look nice...so sorry kid you said you don't know much and now it seems you don't know anything. On an 05 and up a cai AND A TUNE may see 10 hp

K thanks. I will consider that but I think a CAI is definitely a stepping stone. I know I won't get mug but I still want one. I am 17 and I know stupid and all that but it will look and sound nice at least. If I was super into horse I wouldn't have a sixxer. Lol

Please don't be so harsh to members. There are much better ways to go about responding to people who you feel have incorrect information.

Attitude goes a long way in conversation.

Everyone can feel free to discuss the worthwhileness of a CAI but refrain from throwing insults to ones intelligence into the mix please.

You're not asking any stupid questions...when I first started going on forums after I bought my mustang I didn't know anything about car modding...it's a learning process and we all learn from each other.

Don't hesitate to ask any question about your mustang or an aftermarket part you're interested in...we'll do our best to answer, hope to see you around the site
