Fog light kit for 01 V6 Base Convertible

Hi all (Again!)

I have the standard base front bumper/fender with the lower slotted grill openings in the front end.... I crawled up underneath and found that there are fog light mount and screw holes in place at these openings - but no wiring pigtail or harness in sight... the fog light button is a blank in the console.... is there a kit where I can get this fog light button, fog lights with mounts, and a wire-in harness? google gives me about a bazillion hits on every fog light seller in the galaxy but not specifically what I'm looking for... an original illuminated fog light button/switch, fog lights, mounts, and wiring. I know it will dress up my front end and will actually help in all the fog we get around here (we live on a canal and right next to a lake in FL) and it shouldn't cost much either.....

Thanks for any and all advice, links, knowledge, etc..

You can fe the button on CJ pony parts. It fits right in there next to other switches.

Thanks Joshy! Looked through CJPonyParts and found the button, lights with mounts, and repair socket/harness to do the job! awesome! Now to clip off those grill slats and file to a smooth edge and we'll be mounting away!

Thanks again!

I saw them on Adrian in your garage... they look nice!
I noticed you put them more in the center than at the slotted spaces on the outside of the fender - interesting, I didn't even think of that....

I'd love to see some pics if you could of the wiring you had to do and the button you put in... I don't think I have a coin holder but I'm sure I can figure something out... lol

I was thinking of wiring them straight to the ignition so they would more or less be dayrunners, on with the key and off with the key
Don't even need a button in that case.... just lose the ability of turning them on without the key being turned....

NICE! That's a big help! I'll do the same if I use a button/switch.

Wow, they do look slick as hell there! I might have to think more about placing them where you did... I kind of like the idea of fog lights being more to the outside to give the illusion of a wider stance... but yours might be proving me wrong

Thanks for the awesome pics and advice... for $20 I don't think I could go wrong!

Np, i try to do things for somewhat cheap cause my mom always gets on me for spending money on my baby so i either hide the reciepts or get a good deal
LOL

I hear that! My better half wants to really dress this baby up but our budget doesn't really allow for much at the moment.... We have plans for black inlay lettering for the back bumper, a new black top, a dual exhaust kit with flowmasters or something that gives a better sound to the V6, a chin guard, a black shorty antenna, black shiny gas cap/fuel door, black door handles... and then the fun begins with all the lighting and illumination I want to do with blue LEDs... unfortunately first we need new front rotors so there's our first ~$80 or so down the pipes <sigh>
Doing this for $20 would really help!

I'll upload before and after pics when I get the fogs done...

Thanks for all the info!

I guess I can't really put mine EXACTLY where he put his... wouldn't want to take away from his uniqueness! LOL

Then again, we're 3 states apart so I doubt there will be any confusion. hahahah

I do like the way they look though... and I'm surrounded by swamp (and gators!)

In some places they are illegal in some places though. So I would put a switch

I was really surprised it came out so good considering they came from wal-mart
but it never hurts to try
