The guys in the Modded mustangs forum say it's good for 20 real hp. That is significant for a 3 hour job. And junkyard parts. I want to port my plastic intake manifold but I want the one with the aluminum crossover. Just use my stocker as a practice one

I will look into it too for you. It will certainly give you the power you are looking for. You won't be disappointed. And just the intake manifold,if you find one do not pay more than 75 bucks. I don't wanna see you get ripped off

Windstar swap is a great idea for some extra hp. If he had a dollar for every time that "cai's don't do ****" was said in this thread, he would have more than enough to buy one lol

Vapauto has a full kit with an intake pipe, tb, spacer to aim it down for hood clearance, and a bunch of fabbed pieces all for 375. Here's a link for it. Oh, and they claim 20+ hp and 35+ hp when tuned.

I've seen people on forums everywhere. Stock without a tune is anywhere from 7-15rwhp and 15-22tq. So, about as good as exhaust as far as power per dollar, and it looks sick under the hood.

Yeah, considering new edges get little or no gain from them. And if you check out pics of it, it looks so much better then a shiny cai.

Just keep a whistle in your mouth and blow thru it while u drive. Its cheap, does the same thing to ur car as a cai wld, and might trick a few ppl into thinking you have a cai.

Joshy wants a CAI. Everett tell Joshy it wont do anything for New Edge. Joshy still wants CAI b/c he wants his car to whistle. Everett offers to sell his CAI to him. Joshy says sure but needs a few weeks. Joshy finds out Everett's CAI wont fit his v6. I give Joshy ****. Joshy gets upset.

It's 400 $. Jeeze. I'll just buy intake. I will eventually upgrade to windstar though. Even with performance exhaust and tune a CAI won't do anything? Just to recap. Please nobody flip out on me again

To recap, no a cai won't make a difference on your car, save that money and do the Windstar, you will be much happier with the outcome for the money.
