Re: Exhaust?

Go with a chambered muffler. Do not remove the cats.

About the best you're gonna get. Find some videos of what you are wanting and go from there.

I would buy a BORLA catback exhaust. It sounds really nice. Especially on later years. I would gut cats afterwards also.

Hit up YouTube and find what you like, no muffler is never a good idea on a six

The exhuasts are ok when at idle or really low rpm. As sone as you rev the motor you know you got a 6 cyl up under there. What really cracks me up is when someone has made there 6 cyl look like a gt to a T. Just go get your self a real gt with all the money you spend on making it look like one

Yeah I'm not a big fan of the gt clones. That being said I do really like the wheels so I am sporting a set on mine. I still have the v6 bumpers, hood, stance and of course no gt badges. I may have had one person think it was a gt, but he thought that because of the dual exhaust, and knew nothing about stangs. There is a video I saw a while ago with a cobra clone( badges too!) v6. Not cool.

Hahaha yeah I was really happy (kind of) when my V6 got rear-ended and I had the opportunity to upgrade to a GT... but you work with what you've got, I did have an xpipe setup on my V6 and it greatly improved the sound... then she got hit so hard it crumpled the mid-pipes..
