Need Horn Help

This is important to fix since I can't pass inspection without a horn, my horn stopped working a while ago, I know its not the horn since I bypassed the relays to test it, where is a good place to test, I know of 2 relays, 1 in the BEC, and the other mounted above the radiator. Also, when pushing the horn button, a one time click would be heard from the relay in the BEC.

Swap that relay with one just like it and go from there. If that doesn't work you're gonna need a test light. Key on, relay should have two hot leads. It's clicking which means that the horn button is working. It's either bad relay or the other hot lead has a blown fuse.

Re: Need Horn Help

It could be like my car. Clock spring is tore up, too lazy to pull it apart.

Does the car have cruise buttons as well? If so...do they work.

The horn button is good. It only supplies a ground to the relay. Did you swap relays?

There should be another relay just like it. If it fixes it, make sure you swap them back and replace that relay. Mark the horn relay before you swap it just in case you loose track of the bad one.

Re: Need Horn Help

Moved around some relays and nothing happening, I moved the relay for the defroster into it and just a clicking noise, I moved another one and no noise from that one.

You already said that you jumped the pins and the horn blew. Correct? If that is correct, you need a test light. Cheap autozone job will work. Two pins where your relay plugs into should be hot. Pretty sure one is not. You prob have a blown fuse going to one of the leads. Check your fuse panels before anything.
