Mil eliminators

I don't have the money yet to buy a tuner. And I just got an exhaust system that doesn't have catalytic converters, I don't want catalytic converters. So my engine light came on. And I was told if I don't get eliminators or a tuner my car will burn a cylinder. I was wondering if I do get eliminators will that prevent burning cylinders? And could I drive my car for a week till I get my mil eliminators?

I wouldn't race it like that. Normal driving should be ok. Cel on the PCM will go into a safe mode to protect the cats. Don't sweat it.

I don't think that the tuner alone can bypass the o2 sensors. I think they can only be bypassed with a custom tune. Mil eliminators for now. Tuner for horsepower bump. Later you should look into custom tuning. Might want to find out for sure if the tuner alone will bypass the o2's.

The biggest deal is that it's illegal to not have em. Unless you car was built in the 60's.

There not gonna look under your car if you get pulled over. Illegal exhaust ticket with a fine is all. Don't fix it and they might flag liscense till you do. I wouldn't sweat it.

If I get pulled over I'll shut the engine off and then I'll lock the door and step out the car.
