Just did the best upgrade ever

I have kids so I am always getting into the back seat to buckle them in. Those stupid *** seat belt holders next to the headrest have pissed me off to no end. So today I switched them out in my 03 with the ones from my 94. There is a much larger gap to get the seatbelt into very easily. I'll take pictures tomorrow because it's too dark now. If you have to access your back seat often this will be one of the greatest things you can do!!

Good fix. I know all about this. I had to take the dremel to the ones in my gf's 02.

I've personally never had it happen to me with them in the 94, and not so far in my 03. I dont do jumping jacks in my front seat. Even it it does happen to pop out once in a blue moon, for me getting my kids into the back it's well worth it.

It was a pain in the *** to switch them though, couldn't get the headrests off so it was difficult to get to the bolts. Got frustrated and shredded the seats in the 94, it's going to the junk yard so I didnt care. Was much more careful with the 03

Re: Just did the best upgrade ever

yea my 03 the headrests tilt forward so you can take the screws out ... but one of the screws on my drivers side would NOT come off.... and my light bar would hit it in the stock position... I managed to fix it since the bolt was the inner most bolt. I put the other bolt back in but left the seat belt holder pushed forward then slide it back until it pushed up on the bolt and zip tied it this moved it forward about an inch and it clears now lol... works until I figure out something else to do.
