Re: 94 mustang tuner

honestly, you should get the car re-tuned any time you put a new "part" on that could change the performance of the car in order to get the most out of that given part...but of course that will change depending on your car and how sensitive it is...probably the part that you would need a tune the most for would be a significant change in rearend gears...say if you decided to go with 4.10's instead of whatever you have...some parts will change the dynamics of the car more than othes, and those are the ones you REALLY should get a tune for so that you don't break anything...you will also need a tune if you were to go with long tubes and remove to the cats....but i would suggest adding several parts at one time and then tuning it so that you can save some money on all of that tuning ***** as it gets really $$$!!

Re: 94 mustang tuner

I could be wrong, but I was pretty sure that the handheld tunes, like SCT xcal2 and Diablosport, have adjustment capabilities for the speedo and gearing in them...

DiabloSport :: Gas and Diesel Tuning Systems

that's the Diablosport Predator's manufacturers website...it says on the right that it does speedo calibrations for gears and tire size changes...and i know the SCT xcal 2 does everything that the predator does...

SCT does as well, but being a 94, I don't believe that was done in the computer like it is on the newer styles. I believe his is done with speedo gears, not electonics.
