Anyone has this tuner? Is it good? Can anyone give me any advice and breakdowns on what it can do?

I got one...you can change rev limit, shift points, advance timing in 3 rpm ranges,3 tunes for different octane, adjust speedo for different gears, change from stock maf to lighning maf, adjust speedo for different size tires....k that's all I can remember off-hand...I am sure I missed something

Well your tuner has failsafes built in. You can do damage if you advance the timing and the fuel octane doesn't support it.

If you have a tuner don't screw with the timing til you know more about how a motor works. I don't have the inclination to get into it tonight. Maybe someone else will pop in and give you a rundown.

It's not a blower bud....if your buying it from AM you get tunes for life so that's a plus but you will get on the 93 octane tune 20 hp AT THE MOST. My gt doesn't throw me back in the seat until the nitrous sprayed. You will feel some gain but your expecting way to much. What year is your car

K...AM will give you all the direction you need. They email them to you. Then you load them on to your tuner, then you flash them into your car

Re: SCT tuner

Congratulations on getting the tuner, have fun with it. It took me months to bring myself to download my 87 file but now I run it most of the time. My mpg are awesome and it still moves and sounds great.
Hopefully you have or intend to have gears and full exhaust to compliment the tuner. Its unbelievable how much fun I have driving the car.

Re: SCT tuner

its just a tool that modifies the stock computers params for your vehicle, many tools do the same thing. The most important part is the software, not the hardware. Its how the tune is written that matters not which tuner delivers it.

With that said I like SCT better as the tool to use because it data logs and does other great things easier and its more widely programed with etc etc.
