Yup...14.7 to 1 is ideal however tunes tend to be slightly richer to eliminate a possible lean condition and maybe melt pistons.

No...tell AM that you have a cattless exhaust and they will write that into the tune to shut off the back o2 sensor. You can do it off the tuner too but let them do their job. That's why you paid so much for your tuner. For their service. Take advantage of it. You tell them what mods you have and they write tunes to fit...a street, performance and race tune iirc. And then different octane tunes based on those 3 choices. If I were you I would get 1 87 octane street tune then a 93 performance and 93 race tune. The 87 octane street tune is for cruising cause it gets better mileage than stock. Then the other 2 for fun

Probably, just skimming through. Main point sct and bama will deal with the catless situation. Tune or mil elim will take care of his exhaust. I'm having the cats removed and getting the eliminators here shortly myself. (have a cat going bad anyway)

Re: What does it mean when engine runs lean?

How about 4. Lean condition is not enough fuel. Rich is too much fuel. Everett is right about the perfect A/F ratio being 14.7 to 1. Real world it runs a bit less than that though.
A little rich is safe though! Lean will burn holes in your pistons! Anyone with forced induction or nitrous is very aware of this!

The tuner I know said he aims for 13.4 as a 'safe' tune. I don't know much about that aspect...just what I have read and heard
