Question Ram Air/Shaker/Heat Extractor Hoods?

So, the '94 needs new paint (saving up for that) and was throwing around the idea of getting a new hood since it's going to need to be painted anyway.

Are there any Functional Ram Air, Shaker, or Heat Extractor hoods out there for a 1994 V6? Do any of you guys have one?
I'm not exactly what the difference is between them.

Any advice would be great.
Thanks, you know, in advance.

but I don't really like the style...

there is no power to be had, but if you are going to do it use the OEM 03/04 mach 1 setup customized to fit (the scoop area has to be customized)

that hood looks like a wal-mart slap on fake ram air scoop. there has to be something better out there.

How about this one...this is better than the first one

1996 1997 1998 Mustang 4.6 ltr Ram Air Kit - eBay (item 280569005559 end time Mar-29-11 11:58:52 PDT)

If it's a 94-98 Cobra, it'd fit, but I don't think it would do what I am looking for. The only real reason I would want to switch hoods is if it would help with performance.

Which would be better, to do all of that or use what I have and get a Cold Air Intake?

Re: Ram Air/Shaker/Heat Extractor Hoods?

I like the looks of the 2" or 3" cowl hoods but it seems pointless to put that on top of a v6 (there's no way I would need that kind of clearance.)

Still searching online and such though.
This one looks pretty nice:
94-98 Mustang COBRA R SVO Scoop Hood (Fiberglass) [94HOOD-CRS] - $319.00 : MrBodykit.com, The Most Diverse Mustang Bodykits and Mustang Aftermarket Parts on the Planet

The hoods that Cervinis has are nice too:

Re: Ram Air/Shaker/Heat Extractor Hoods?

Hmm well I figured while we were on the subject, what do you guys think about wings/spoilers?
My car doesn't have one (never has) and was thinking about adding one.
I haven't completely decided whether or not I want to..
I keep seeing stock GT takeoff wings on CL for super cheap, but the Saleen spoiler is my favorite I think.

Also, is there anything that can be gained from having a spoiler?
I know it's supposed to help with air flow, but does it really?
seems like most of the ones I see are for show and just add more weight to the car.
