something other than a 4R70W?

need some help here. i have 00 3.8 auto. ive went through two of these transmissions. the first went the day after i got it. the second just went on me two days ago, swapped it out last summer. im wondering what other auto trans would bolt into this thing? all i hear about it is converting to a manual. thanks for any input!

i would just convert to a manual man. not worth it to already have gone through 2.

i seriously just want to stear away from these transmissions all together. i just dont know what would bolt up to my motor and there is nothing anywhere other than converting to a manual but i dont want a manual!

Sorry, wish I could tell you what else would bolt up to your engine. I'm not V6 savvy.
