Does anyone know where to get the side vents and hood vents for a 95 mustang??? Also does anyone know how to take the trim off the rear tail lights? i have the stock side to side tail lights. I want to take the trim off and paint them.

Re: Exterior question

the trim, just take off the tail lights first and then it shouldnt be hard to get the trim off without messing it up, I got mine off and painted it black on my old car.

Re: Exterior question

Is it just clips or screws?

Re: Exterior question

clips on my 07, but the 94/95 differ and ive never tried, I am betting its just clipped in. Take the lights out and you can work on em. Good idea on not painting them while still on the light, taking the bezel off is the only way to go.

While its off if the lens is faded use this as a chance to restore it without worrying about messing up the painted bezel.

Re: Exterior question

Ya I don't want to paint the rest of the car. A normal headlight repair kit will restore the finish on the tail lights?

My 94 has the horizontal lights, it's all one piece, no trim to take off, I had to mask off the "bars" when I tinted my lights

Post a close up of your light. I'll do one tomorrow since it's dark now, but I am 100% sure that the housing is one piece, if you want to paint you will have to mask everything else off

Re: Exterior question

I just ordered some and installed them. Funny that right side is more expensive than left side. mustangsunlimited.com shipped them to me. Came packaged in Ford bags.
