Maf

There's another v6 mustang that my neighbor has and he's taking the engine out and putting a high performance engine in. I wanna know can I use his mass airflow sensor? Are they universal that I can use it on my v6?

Re: Maf

Yes 99-04 V6's are the same generation but why would you use it? As a spare?

This.
And yes, it isn't going to give you any gains. Should be the exact same part. Nice to have spare anything laying around though.

Yeah I want it as a spare I'm also taking his engine and ima strip it down to the block. And this will be a learning experience. Reason why bc this car is staying a v6. Ima buy me a v8. I spent a lot of money in it to be a v6 why make it double into a v8? But that's off topic.
Yeah more spares the better.
