M-112 adaptor intake manafold

Anyone with experience with this? It's made so a v6 3.8 liter can have a 03-04 cobra supercharger

The $900 price tag always scared me...but then if you're going to spend thousands to supercharge the car you might as well spend $900 for the plate

900 just for the piece. then the supercharger.. then the installation...gonna need a tuner and get it dyno'd. stronger rearend. lots of work and money. but if you follow through with it, respect. would be nasty

The nice thing about that adapter plate is that it allows you to strap any roots/positive displacement blower on your 6...m112, KB, whipple

But I'd be doing quite a bit of support mods if I strapped a 2.2L KB on that b*tch.

And some nice used m112s are as low as $600 on eBay and craigslist.

Yah the superchargers aren't bad, it's the damn adapter plate that sucks, and really that's the only way to get one on the engine. I mean really 1500 for the supercharger and plate isn't too bad...if you have the cash and plan on building the car it's not a horribly priced job.

True, it really isn't too expensive. And some people with a good background in welding and engines have fabricated adapter plates that work for only the cost of the metal...
